Senior Accountant | CPA Preferred | Leadership Opportunity | Competitive Benefits

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the timely delivery of financial reports that support strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording in accordance with accounting standards.
Regulatory & Tax Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, SEC requirements, and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and review tax filings, returns, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
Audit & Internal Controls
  • Lead and coordinate annual external and internal audits.
  • Develop, implement, and strengthen internal control systems and accounting policies.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
  • Support strategic planning through financial modeling and analysis.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting personnel.
  • Review the work of junior accountants and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Able to manage multiple company financial accounts
  • Strong knowledge of PFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in handling audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in process improvement and financial controls

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
  • At least 3-5 years accounting experience, preferably in financial services or stock brokerage
  • Strong knowledge of PFRS, taxation, and regulatory reporting
  • Experience handling annual external audit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
