Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

Summary:

Key duties include financial reporting and analysis, assisting the MCFO in driving financial improvement at ASCs and hospitals, and ad hoc financial and/or data analysis as needed.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Preparation and analysis of contribution margin reports
• Prepare financial reports and schedules
• Update templates for mid-month projections
• Identify volume variances and consolidate commentary/action plans
• Identify bad debt drivers and consolidate action plans
• Review month end expenses and consolidate expense comments/drivers
• Analyze net revenue and provide key drivers
• Prepare month end memo with high level commentary
• Prepare volume reports by physician
• Quarterly balance sheet reviews
• Assist with preparation of quarterly forecasts
• Assist with the creation of annual budgets and variance analysis to prior year actuals

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in finance or related functions, balanced between financial analysis, general accounting, and budgeting/forecasting responsibilities
• Commitment to the highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
• Advanced proficiency using MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Word is mandatory.
• Effective communication skills with all levels in the organization, with strong verbal, written and executive level presentation skills
• Ability to think independently and work through complex tasks
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn
• Quick learner with the capacity to work within tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance (or equivalent), accounting, or a related field
