Trainer - Developer
The Trainer – Developer is responsible for designing innovative and impactful learning experiences that inspire colleagues worldwide to grow and develop.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and delivering learning interventions tailored for operational staff. The proportion of these tasks may vary for each employee, depending on operational requirements and individual development needs.
Initially, the role will be fully dedicated to Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)—covering onboarding, development pathways, and knowledge base structuring. Once M&E processes have been stabilized and transitioned to business-as-usual, the Trainer – Developer may be partially allocated to other Learning & Development pillars, based on workload and organizational priorities.
KEY RESULT AREAS- Training Preparation, Aftercare & Administration
- Ensure timely preparation and administration of training sessions to maintain quality. Finalize trainings by updating materials and processing changes during aftercare, leaving them ready for future use by trainees and Trainer–Developers.
- Training Execution
- Deliver training programs to ensure new and existing staff meet required quality and service standards in knowledge, skills, and behavior.
- Trainee Evaluation
- Evaluate trainees against defined learning objectives to ensure they meet required job standards.
- Design & Development of Learning Materials
- Create modular learning materials for global use, aligned with standards and organizational needs, in collaboration with the Lead Trainer and L&D Specialist.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify process issues and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- University-level thinking and working ability.
- 1–2 years of experience in a commercial, service-oriented environment, with good understanding of the airline, marine, or travel industry.
- BPO experience preferred.
- Strong team player and people-oriented.
- Knowledge of current developments and trends in Training and Knowledge Management.
- Fluent in English and Filipino (written and verbal).
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent public speaking and group discussion facilitation skills.
- Flexible to work on shifting schedules, including holidays.
