We are looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Team Leader to join our growing team in Manila. In this key role, you will lead and support our AP operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing while driving continuous improvement within the function.You'll collaborate closely with local and UK-based teams, playing crucial part in strengthening our Finance operations and supporting the ongoing growth of our Philippine branch. What will you do as an Accounts Payable Team Leader?
As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day AP operations while providing second-level support to the team. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, both locally and internationally, to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Your leadership will be instrumental in driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies, and supporting the team's development. With a focus on efficiency and accuracy, you'll also utilize data to identify trends, address issues proactively, and contribute to the overall success of the finance function.
What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?- Proven experience as a Senior Accounts Payable Specialists or in similar role.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using accounting software (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
