Finance Associate

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Staff who is a graduate of Accountancy or a related course, with solid knowledge of BIR processes and compliance requirements. The role involves supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely tax submissions, and maintaining compliance with Philippine tax laws and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate computation and timely remittance of withholding tax, VAT, income tax,
• Monitor and manage tax calendars and deadlines to avoid penalties
• Handle BIR-related documentation, including preparation of attachments and supporting schedules
• Assist in BIR audits, tax assessments, and ensure proper documentation and compliance
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting record
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting and tax regulations in the Philippines
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related course
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred (but fresh graduates with strong knowledge of BIR processes may be considered)
• Familiar with BIR forms, tax deadlines, and e-filing processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
