Job Overview

We're seeking a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will ensure financial integrity through accurate reporting, auditing, and tax compliance. This pivotal role combines technical accounting skills with strategic advisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare, review, and interpret financial statements. Perform audits and certify accuracy in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Audits & Assurance

Conduct internal and external audits. Provide assurance services to affirm the reliability of disclosures and adherence to accounting standards

Tax Compliance & Planning

Prepare and file tax returns. Advise clients or company leadership on tax planning and strategies. Represent the organization in IRS or government audits when necessary

Budgeting & Forecasting

Collaborate with management to develop budgets. Forecast revenues, manage project budgets, and analyze profit margins for strategic decision-making

Financial Controls & Risk Management

Evaluate and enhance accounting systems and internal controls to identify risks and improve operational efficiency

Team Leadership & Advisory

Oversee junior accountants or finance staff. Act as a trusted advisor, presenting financial insights to leadership and stakeholders

Regulatory Compliance & Confidentiality

Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and law.

Technology & Process Improvement

Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho) and Excel. Embrace automation and data analytics to enhance productivity

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 150 credit hours as required for CPA licensure.
Active CPA license or certification in progress.
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and ethical integrity
Strong communication skills to explain findings and collaborate with stakeholders
Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or public accounting preferred
Familiarity with continuing professional education (CPE) and professional ethics standards is a plus.
