Job Description:

The IT Internal Auditor is responsible for:

• Evaluating and assessing the Company's information technology systems, processes, and controls to ensure the integrity and security of data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Plans and executes IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, security protocols, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assesses the Company's IT policies, procedures, and systems to identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and areas of non-compliance.
• Develops and maintains audit work papers, documentation, and reports to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
• Executes audit procedures, defines and analyzes audit issues, establishes criteria, evaluates evidence, and thoroughly documents client processes and procedures.
• Conducts audit interviews, reviews pertinent documents, designs and conducts surveys, prepares concise summary memos, and maintains comprehensive working papers.

Qualifications:

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a reputable college or university with major course work in business administration, or a related field, or a second professional certification in a related area such as IT auditing, internal auditing, fraud auditing, or accounting.
• Preferrably CPA, CIA, CISA or CFSA
• 1-2 years of full-time experience in IT audit, IT security, or risk management, preferably in a regulated industry.
