Travel Agency Specialist

Job Summary:

The Travel Agent Specialist serves as the main point of contact of the travel operations team, overseeing client bookings and ensuring smooth coordination of all travel arrangements. This role handles complex itineraries, supports junior staff, and ensures excellent customer service and efficient travel management for both individual and corporate clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily travel operations and coordinate team activities.
• Arrange and confirm flight, hotel, and transportation bookings for clients.
• Review and approve itineraries to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and support to travel associates and interns.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and travel service providers for group and corporate bookings.
• Handle client inquiries, changes, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of bookings, payments, and travel documentation.
• Monitor travel trends and recommend packages, routes, and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or any related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in travel coordination, booking operations, or a related role.
• Experience as a team coordinator or point person is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in travel systems and online booking platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email correspondence.
• Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and render overtime when needed.
