JOB DESCRIPTION
Electrical Technician is responsible for handling and conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of the plant’s electrical and automation equipment/facilities as well as testing and calibrating machinery to ensure it is operating at maximum efficiency.Engineering Technician also troubleshoot, repair, and move heavy pieces of machinery. The position is also responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery to ensure it is always in proper working order.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or other related courses or equivalent from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- With atleast minimum of 2 years of work experience as electrician and relevant trainings
- Has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Knowledgeable in electric motors, relays, timers, contactors, sensors and other electrical devices Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Has the ability to conduct preventive maintenance tasks of electrical/automation equipment and to conduct troubleshooting and repairs of electrical control circuit and equipment
