Research & Development Specialist

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Research & Development Specialist who has a strong background in product formulation and a passion for innovation. You'll be responsible for developing Eau de Toilette, colognes, perfumes, personal care, and household products from concept to commercialization.
This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and strong project management skills. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve formulations for perfumes, colognes, personal care, and household products
- Source and evaluate raw materials and suppliers
- Conduct trials, stability testing, and scale-up processes
- Prepare technical documentation and regulatory compliance reports
- Work closely with production, marketing, and quality assurance teams to ensure product launch readiness
- Ensure adherence to ASEAN cosmetic regulations and cMP standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering (Licensed professionals preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in product formulation (fragrance, cosmetics, or household care)
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic and personal care product development
- Proficient in using lab instruments such as pH meter, viscometer, etc.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and technical documentation
- Excellent time management, collaboration, and communication skills
- Knowledge in ASEAN GMP and cosmetic regulations is an advantage
