JOB PURPOSE:
The Regional Expansion Lead is responsible for translating the company's store expansion plans into actionable steps and ensuring its successful implementation. The role involves identifying potential partnerships for franchisee pipeline development and relevant sources of franchisee sourcing and recruitment.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Store Expansion Planning & Execution:
- Execute the store expansion strategy including franchisee development activities to meet the expansion targets
- Overseeing the execution of the region's new store builds, divestment of franchise and company-owned stores and relocation, as well as the execution of the franchise development strategies
- Collaborate with lessors, legal, and finance teams to ensure all necessary approvals and contracts are in place.
- Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that may impact expansion timelines or success.
Franchise Acquisition & Development:
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships to support franchise growth in target markets.
- Develop and manage a robust franchisee sourcing and recruitment pipeline through a combination of direct outreach, networking, events, and partnership channels.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide franchisees with the tools and support required for successful launch and operation.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify high-potential territories for growth.
- Monitor and assess competitive landscape, local consumer behavior, and macroeconomic factors influencing regional viability.
- Use data and field insights to recommend optimal site locations and store formats tailored to regional needs.
Franchisee Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with franchisees within their area. Act as their business advisor regarding business expansion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in expansion efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in retail expansion, franchising, business development, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated success in executing multi-location store rollouts and/or franchise development across regions.
- Strong understanding of franchising models, partner management, and compliance frameworks.
- Willingness to travel as required within the assigned region(s).
- COMPETENCIES:

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
