Business Process Management Lead | Assistant Manager Level

JOB PURPOSE
The Business Process Management (BPM) Lead drives the organization’s process excellence agenda by leading end-to-end process improvement, standardization, and governance initiatives across the business. The role partners with key stakeholders to design, improve, and sustain efficient and scalable business processes aligned with Generika’s strategic and operational priorities.
The BPM Lead ensures that critical business processes are well-documented, continuously improved, and effectively implemented to support operational efficiency, compliance, and business continuity. The role also champions a culture of continuous improvement across teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Management and Improvement- Lead the review, redesign, and optimization of end-to-end business processes in partnership with process owners and stakeholders.
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and risks in current processes and translate them into actionable improvement initiatives.
- Design and implement future-state processes using structured methodologies and best practices such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Lead facilitation of workshops, FGDs, and root cause analysis sessions to drive alignment and solution development.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the Branch Operations Manual, including policies, procedures, guidelines, and supporting documents.
- Ensure all process documentation is standardized, complete, updated, and aligned with governance requirements.
- Establish and maintain process documentation standards and controls for consistency across the organization.
- Lead assigned process improvement and transformation projects from initiation to implementation.
- Drive execution of continuous improvement programs such as Ayusin Circle, ensuring idea generation translates into implemented solutions.
- Monitor progress, outcomes, and benefits realization of process improvement initiatives.
- Support ad hoc strategic initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Lead engagement with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of process changes.
- Communicate process changes clearly, using data and structured rationale to drive understanding and alignment.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of process improvements with operational needs and customer expectations.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset across the organization by challenging existing practices and encouraging innovation.
- Introduce new approaches, tools, and methodologies to enhance process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Promote knowledge sharing and capability building in process improvement practices across teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Business Process Management, Operations Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or similar role
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives or projects is required
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt required
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification strongly preferred
- Project Management certification is an advantage
COMPETENCIES
Process and Analytical Expertise- Strong capability in process mapping, analysis, redesign, and optimization
- Advanced skills in root cause analysis, Lean Six Sigma tools, and quality methodologies
- Strong documentation and process governance capability
- Proficient in MS Office tools and BPM software such as Visio, Draw.io, or equivalent
- Able to lead process improvement initiatives independently and drive results
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes
- Comfortable operating in dynamic and fast-changing environments
- Strong decision-making ability with sound judgment under ambiguity
- Strong ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
- Skilled in presenting ideas, recommendations, and process solutions clearly and persuasively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, at operational and management levels
- Able to translate technical process improvements into business value
