I. Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall function of the depot in Warehousing, Production, Planning, and Asset Management. Supports the VP-Business Development in the overall warehousing operations of WM Mexico Depot. He maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering of items.Securing the warehouse and supervision of the warehouse staff. Needs to focus on ongoing productivity and efficiency improvements.
II. Duties and Responsibilities- Oversees logistics function of the warehouse to ensure supplies, stocks, materials, packages, and/or products are transported efficiently and and safely.
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
- Responsible to maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse, structure, layout, and security.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews in resolving problems and identifying warehouse improvements.
- Moves inventory by scheduling and coordinating transfers with the related departments and stores.
- Delivers and monitors supplies to each departments and business units.
- Monitors closely all stocks requisition, internal and external
- Making sure all assets are received, stored, and dispatched properly. This includes proper tagging of assets and system inventory.
- Graduate of any 4-year course.
- Should have at least 5 years relevant work experience handling supervisory position focusing on warehouse operations.
- With thorough understanding of the overall retail supply chain
- Computer literate and with exposure on a manufacturing set up on item production
