As the focal position of Marketing Manager for Food & Beverage business in the Philippines, you will be responsible for building capabilities development centrered around decoding consumer trends, sensory & market data that supports out exciting marketing initiatives which continues to engage the customers ensuring key accounts requirements are met through well-defined projects.In return, you will be connected to various challenging yet exciting projects in a highly collaborative working environment with supportive colleagues locally and regionally.
Marketing- Plan & execute email campaigns or sales sheets (bi-annual or annual) to promote our capabilities, competencies and product portfolio
- Execute, support and presenting innovative and engaging customer interactions such as Innovation Day or Insights Roll-Outs
- Support on standardized communication and marketing presentation pack for all external engagements
- Support, coordinate and execute presentations for sales team on agreed projects
- Plan & execute social media or online content for local platforms if needed.
- Coordinate, support & work with regional experts on regional & local initiatives and projects for decoding, consumer research and sensory science.
- Propose and give guidance on possible opportunities or flavor directions or concepts (including natural ingredients if applicable) based on insights and research done to both regional and local stakeholders
- Building local consumers network for qualitative & quantitative survey for key projects and category initiatives including regional initiatives
- Plan and execute culinary/taste trails with interviewing and involving consumers
- Support to conduct in-house consumer panel discussions, including setting up plan and implementation for maintaining an active consumer panel
- Support regional & local initiative in liaising and coordinating with local agencies
- Drive timely market insights packs (new launches, flavors trend scopes or consumers behaviours etc.) for Commercial team monthly or bi-monthly for Challenger Engagement with customers
- Coordinate with Portfolio and Sensory to build Sensory Data Packs for Commercial Team for easy communication to customers
- Support ad-hoc desk research decoding for Account Team for specific project or opportunity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in relevant industry like flavoring and food ingredients with experience as Category Manager, Marketing Manager or Industry like Consumer Research Agency and market data research agency as Senior Research Analyst or Research Manager.
- Good understanding of the local Food Industry & FMCG Companies dealing with Food Manufacturing
- Equipped with a good working knowledge of Flavors and other Food and/or Natural Ingredients while able to conduct effective and compelling presentations with storytelling capabilities
- Create persuasive and precise multimedia content (PowerPoint, brochure or online post) to generate leads for our products.
- Conduct and lead consumers panel discussions or focus groups to generate in-house insights on consumers preference and behaviours.
- Ability to translate abstract data and insights into meaningful customer and market relevant insights, value proposition and leads for internal stakeholders
- Strong team player with strong sense of coordination, entrepreneurial spirit & drive for excellence.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Computer literacy with competence in Microsoft Office Suite while adapting to new IT systems
- Exposure to Project Management and Process Management will be added an advantage but not required
- Prior/Current experience working on regional insights/marketing activities is highly welcomed.
