  • Achieve delivery of expected individual targets not limited to deposit and lending volume (based on ADB, Year to date and Month to date reports) while delivering results aligned with strategies of the Branch Manager and the Area business plans to achieve desired revenues, expense and service goals.
  • Responsible for bringing in new customers and boosting the bank’s profits.
  • Identify, build, deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of the branch target markets and affluent segments in support of the Branch sales targets through superior customer experience.
  • Anticipate the complex financial needs of the clients and offer solutions through wide range of products, services and tools.
  • With the support of the product specialists, intuitively recognize and understand a client’s banking, credit and investment needs and goals in order to provide a holistic financial solution.
  • Provide regular value added engagement with clients – High touch, face to face meetings at client’s preferred location, consistent communication, access to seminars, etc.
  • Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio, proactively source, acquire, and expand high value customer relationship by maximizing sales and service opportunities.
  • Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate ( including, not limited to lending units, investment departments, other branches, business partners, etc)
  • Partner with all roles on branch teams to ensure all clients have a positive in-branch experience.
  • Manage and expand acquired accounts as agreed & signed in the MBO.
  • Submit regularly call reports and other sales monitoring documents to Business Center Manager and/or Regional Business Center Head.
  • Network within communities to find and attract new business
  • Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure safety and security of customers and bank assets.
  • Provide support to branch and regional business center requirements when necessary.
  • Performs duties in the absence of the Business Center Manager or other such management capacities as directed by Area Cluster Head.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications: Educational Requirement

Four-year College Degree from a reputable school preferably a Business Administration course

Work Experience:

  • Full knowledge of banking products and services
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player, able to interact effectively with all levels of management and client
  • Proven track record of driving sales, both individually and as leader of a sales team
  • Sales management experience, ability to build teams
  • Strong understanding of banking industry and operations
  • People management experiences ( preferred)
  • Demonstrated success influencing and managing in a matrix environment
  • Business banking and cash/treasury management experience, credit skills(preferred)
  • Client service orientation
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Optimistic and “can do” attitude
  • Desire to win, results oriented and strong work ethics
  • Able to respond effectively and timely to organizational, business and regulatory changes, tenacious
  • Sound PC knowledge to facilitate efficient management of reports and other system related requirements of the Branch / Head Office
  • Sound inter-personal and management skills
  • With at least two (2) years of work experience as Sales Officer / Sales Representative in a commercial or universal bank
  • With proven track record in sales and marketing, account solicitation and management
