QC Inspector
I. BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for inspecting and ensuring that products meet established quality standards before they reach customers. Involves conducting tests, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
II. KEY ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to the QC Supervisor or QA/QC Manager and works closely with Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to maintain product quality.
III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Use measuring tools (analog and digital caliper) and testing equipment to verify product specifications.
- Identify defects, deviations, or non-conforming products and report findings to the supervisor.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Perform functional, visual, and mechanical testing based on established criteria.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in investigating quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and rejected items.
- Prepare quality reports and submit findings to the Qc Supervisor or QA/QC Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality procedures and inspection logs.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to address quality concerns.
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow safety protocols and quality control procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any unsafe practices or quality-related concerns to management.
IV. QUALIFICATION
Education : High School Diploma, Vocational Certificate, or Bachelor's degree or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management).
Experience : Experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing is preferred; Familiarity with 2D/3D drawing and use of caliper is a plus.
Skills : Knowledge in quality control standards, inspection techniques, and measuring tools(e.g., calipers, micrometers). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Others : Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong communication skills for reporting quality issues. Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as needed.
