GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Conducting on-site Investigations to assess soil, rock, and groundwater conditions for construction projects.
• Performing field tests (e.g., borehole drilling, soil sampling, and penetration tests).
• Analyzing soil stability, bearing capacity, and potential geohazards.
• Supervising site activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical recommendations.
• Collaborating with civil engineers, contractors, and geologists.
• Preparing technical reports and providing geotechnical solutions for foundations, slopes, and excavations.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience with geotechnical testing and equipment.
• Review of Geotechnical Investigation Reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct grounds investigation design and implementation.
• Perform on-site investigations (soil, rock, groundwater) and field test (e.g., borehole, drilling, sampling, penetration tests.)
• Analyze soil stability, bearing capacity, and geohazards.
• Interpret field data, perform computer analysis, and modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend geotechnical solutions for foundations, slopes, excavations, and embarkments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and geotechnical standards.
• Provide technical input and advice to projects teams and clients.
• Manage and communicate project changes/modifications effectively.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, contractors, and geologists.
• Participate in the site visits, client meetings, and project prioritization.

May require travel and extended time on-site.
