About the role
Join the dynamic team at Myridius (formerly RCG Global Services) as a Software QA Analyst. This full-time position is based in Makati City, Metro Manila and will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software applications.As a Software QA Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.
What you'll be doing- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using established bug tracking systems
- Document & implement new tools & techniques for QA process improvements focused on reusability & standardization.
- Display strong QA fundamentals and knowledge on test lifecycle (Planning, Analysis, Execution & Defect logging)
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the alignment of test activities
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve software quality
- Proactively flag risks in a timely manner and help resolve the issues to avoid project disruption
- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software QA Analyst or in a similar role
- Proficient in performing manual testing e.g. functional, smoke, regression, end to end, integrations etc.
- At least 3 years’ experience in manual testing for UI
- At least 1 year experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI or similar
- Worked on at least 1 test management tool such as Jira, Test Rail, Qtest, HP ALM, Azure DevOps etc
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with software testing tools, bug tracking systems, and version control systems
- · Experience in native app mobile testing is preferred
- · Experience in using Jira Xray
- · Experience in AB Testing
Work Arrangement:
- Shift Schedule: Night Shift
- Work set-up: Hybrid (2 days onsite)
- Office Location: Makati City
