Job description

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring variances, and providing financial analysis.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate and assist with audits, ensuring compliance and providing necessary documentation.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
