SOFTWARE/MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Reporting to Golden Suntec Solutions Inc., Specialists, Chief Software Architect and Software Development Manager, Mobile/Software Developers are fully responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of GSSI's Software Applications.
High-level responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile and software applications for various platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile and software development
- Work closely with QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
- Document technical specifications and project details
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Mobile/Software Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, C#.Net or others relevant to mobile and software development
- Experience with mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) and software development frameworks
- Strong understanding of mobile and web application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of previous work
