Is URGENTLY looking for:

STAFF ENGINEER

(Vismin-based)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Sales and Engineering Department in the proper turnover giving attention to details such as contract provisions, special arrangements, specifications and commitment on completion.
• Sees to it that the turned-over drawings by Engineering department are in proper order as to clarify of the scope of work.
• Closely coordinates the status of the project inspected for pre-installation. In order for him to prepare the quarterly installation schedule.
• Assists superior in the preparation of periodic reports.
• Prepares project budget and subcontractor’s contract price and makes recommendations from time to time improve budget and pricing.
• Closely coordinates with Accounting Department on cost data of the project and advises superior regarding abnormal cost for proper action.
• Assists superior in the overall control of collection activities particularly the timely billings of accountabilities, keeping an updated record of status of accountabilities, and follows up directly the payments of special accounts assigned to him.
• Closely coordinates with stockroom personnel on the proper management of the installation tools and equipment.
• Takes charge of the efficient dispatch of the department’s truck facilities in close coordination with the supervisors on their requirements.
• Performs other installation-related tasks that may be assigned by his superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Graduate of BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission.
• Must have at least one (1) year of related experience in construction industry.
• Must be proficient in both oral and written communication.
• Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and demonstrate strong demonstrate strong leadership ability.
• Must be capable of negotiating effectively with other trade and contractors/clients.
• Must possess a pleasant personality and of good moral character.
