Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for cost management?
Join GMC as a Junior Accounting Supervisor and play a key role in managing inventory costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting business performance through data-driven insights.
What You’ll Do- Review and monitor all inventory movements and ensure accurate recording of actual costs
- Analyze transactions and prepare Gross Profit (GP) analysis for the business unit
- Ensure timely submission of cost accounting and financial reports
- Verify daily transaction postings and ensure accuracy of entries
- Review material costs and initiate corrections for any discrepancies
- Close monthly transactions within the required timeline
- Prepare monthly journal entries for the Flour Business Unit
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and company policies
- Promote and adhere to occupational safety and health standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CPA is an advantage)
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with different levels of the organization
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Willingness to lead and grow within the organization
- Mature, responsible, and a committed team player
