Key Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematical concepts including number operations, algebraic thinking, geometry, data analysis, and probability.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and tools to accommodate different learning styles and levels.
• Assess student progress through homework, quizzes, tests, and classroom participation.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages inquiry and collaboration.
• Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student academic progress and behavior.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives or school-wide math programs.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of middle school math curriculum and instructional best practices.
• Previous teaching experience at the junior high or middle school level preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student growth and development.
