Ocean Network Express was established on July 7, 2017, by the integration of 'K' Line, MOL and NYK. The Holding company was set up in Japan on July 7, 2017, and simultaneously a business management company was established in Singapore. Regional headquarters have been established in Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, USA and Brazil and services commenced in April 2018.Providing a wide service coverage with the 6th largest fleet in the world. In April 2017, 'K' Line, MOL and NYK, started services as "THE Alliance" with other major shipping companies.
Ocean Network Express will continue to provide services as an alliance member. In addition to this alliance, we are continuing to further strengthen our services to Asia, Latin America and Africa regions. We will further expand the number of ports in the future to Asia, North America, Europe, the Mediterranean Sea and the Middle East, also planning to expand our direct service to perform a wide service coverage.

ONE Career Development Program (ONE CDP) was conceptualized with this aim of bringing talents onboard ONE as Liner Business Generalists where they will be developed to learn the intricacies of the business through job rotation among different departments and offices globally.
Successful candidates are required to be functionally and geographically mobile.
As part of ONE CDP Philippines, we are now hiring for Global Terminal Management who will then be further rotated.
Job Summary:The CDP Trainee is responsible for assisting upper Management with day-to-day operations and overseeing different facets of the organization in preparation for eventual leadership roles.
Your Responsibilities:
- The CDP Trainee will assist Department Heads by rotating through different Departments and performing various tasks that will be assigned to them
- Based on performance and successful completion of the training period, the CDP Trainee will be assigned to leadership roles either locally, in the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) or Global Headquarters (GHQ) of the company.
- Contributes with planning and implementation of the project of the department where he/she will be assigned
- Collaborates with Management and any Department locally or globally for comprehensive understanding of the company operations
- Undertakes special projects as assigned by Management
- Recommends improvements based on review and analysis of the different departmental working procedures
- Studies market trends, interprets and analyzes data for strategic decisions
- Prepares, submits, and presents needed reports as required by the Management
- Performs ad-hoc functions as necessary
- After 2-3 years working in the Philippines, there may be an opportunity to be relocated to ONE overseas office subject to passing the Performance Evaluation qualification.
Qualifications/Requirements
Your Qualifications:
- - Bachelor’s degree holder with relevant field of studies. Masteral/Doctoral Degree is an advantage
- Must have 3-8 years of related work experience, preferably in the shipping/logistics industry
- Strong interest in developing a long-term career in the maritime industry
- Must be geographically/functionally mobile - willing to be relocated locally and internationally
- Demonstrates potential to be groomed for future leadership roles
- Agile with ability to adapt to different teams / new function
- Can be either generalist or functional expert
- Willing to be assigned in all facets of the organization
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
- Able to face challenges and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and English fluency (written and verbal)
