Sales Engineer

Role Overview
Cebu's real estate and construction industry is growing fast — and our elevator business is growing with it. We need a Sales Engineer who knows the Visayas construction landscape, can speak the technical language of architects and engineers, and has the commercial drive to turn project opportunities into signed contracts.This is a field-heavy, client-facing role that rewards technical credibility and relationship-building skills equally.
What You Will Do
Technical Sales & Business Development- Identify and pursue elevator project opportunities across Cebu and nearby Visayas provinces — targeting developers, general contractors, architects, and building owners.
- Conduct technical site assessments and project reviews to determine the right elevator solution for each application.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, specifications, and quotations aligned to project drawings and client requirements.
- Present and justify technical recommendations to engineering consultants, project managers, and procurement decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close contracts — managing the complete sales process from initial inquiry to deal signing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders across the Visayas region.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client concerns, system queries, and pre-installation coordination.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to maintain account health and explore new project opportunities.
- Coordinate with the technical and project teams to ensure seamless handover from sales to execution.
- Monitor Cebu's active construction pipeline — identifying new developments, upcoming bids, and project opportunities ahead of competition.
- Track competitor offerings and pricing to maintain a competitive market position.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline data, and client information consistently.
- Submit weekly sales pipeline updates and monthly workload reports every 3rd week of the month.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- 2–3 years of technical or engineering sales experience — elevator, escalator, building systems, or construction equipment preferred
- Solid ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and project specifications
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills with a technical client base
- Established local network within Cebu's architecture, engineering, and construction community is highly preferred
- Cebu-based or willing to relocate to Cebu — required
