Compliance Officer

Role Summary:

The Compliance Officer is responsible for strengthening ATRAM's compliance framework by executing compliance testing, monitoring regulatory adherence, and supporting AML and FATCA compliance initiatives. The role partners with business units to ensure regulatory requirements are implemented effectively, compliance risks are proactively managed, and the organization maintains a strong culture of integrity and regulatory excellence.

What Business Outcomes the Role is Responsible for:

• Strengthen Compliance Assurance: Execute compliance testing, continuous monitoring, and control reviews to identify compliance gaps, validate the effectiveness of internal controls, and support a robust compliance program.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Timely Reporting: Monitor regulatory developments, coordinate the timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports, and facilitate the implementation of new regulatory requirements across the organization.
• Enhance AML & Compliance Risk Management: Support AML, FATCA, and Data Privacy compliance initiatives by monitoring adherence to regulatory requirements, partnering with business units, and promoting compliance awareness through training and guidance.

What We're Looking For in a Successful Candidate:

• Regulatory & Financial Services Expertise: Holds a Bachelor's degree with experience in compliance, legal, risk, or control-related functions within the financial services industry, with strong knowledge of trust, investment, and asset management regulations, including AML, FATCA, and Data Privacy.
• Risk Assessment & Analytical Capability: Demonstrates strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in compliance testing, risk assessments, controls evaluation, and regulatory issue validation.
• Communication, Integrity & Collaboration: Builds productive relationships across the organization through excellent communication and stakeholder management skills while demonstrating integrity, adaptability, accountability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
