Bookkeeper - Australian Client - Work from Home

This is a full time job - 40 hours per week.

About the role

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards. Work From home

1. Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in our accounting software
3. Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other tax-related documents
4. Liaise with clients and third-party stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries
5. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis as required
6. Contribute to the implementation of improved processes and procedures to enhance efficiency

1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with Australian clients
2. Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
3. Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
