DECKHAND

Location: Baloy, Tablon, Cagayan de Oro

We are looking for a dependable Deckhand to assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the company yacht. This role will support the captain in ensuring safe navigation, vessel upkeep, and passenger comfort.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Marine Transportation, BS in Marine Engineering, or any related maritime course
• Preferably with basic knowledge in marine operations or boating
• Experience as a deckhand or in vessel maintenance is an advantage
• Willing to work flexible hours depending on yacht schedules
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
• Basic swimming skills preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the captain in vessel navigation and docking procedures
• Handle ropes, anchors, and mooring lines during departure and arrival
• Perform routine cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of the yacht’s interior and exterior
• Monitor and maintain deck equipment, safety gear, and supplies
• Assist in passenger boarding, safety briefings, and comfort during trips
• Help with loading and unloading of cargo or provisions
• Follow safety protocols and maritime regulations at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by the captain
