Job Summary:

The HR Generalist (Officer Level) will be responsible for handling a wide range of human resources functions, with a primary focus on Employee Relations. The role will lead efforts in managing employee discipline, addressing violations, issuing NTEs, and implementing proactive solutions to prevent workplace issues.

While Employee Relations is the core focus, the HR Generalist is also expected to support other HR areas such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in handling Employee Relations matters including but not limited to:
  • Issuing notices to explain (NTEs) and conducting due process
  • Investigating and resolving workplace violations or grievances
  • Recommending disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential employee issues to maintain a healthy work environment
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination and government compliance.
  • Maintain and update employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives and monitor effectiveness.
  • Assist in performance management activities and support managers in implementing improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and organizational development programs.
  • Prepare HR-related reports such as headcount, attrition, and incident summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of solid experience in an HR Generalist or Officer role, with significant exposure to employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
