Ocean pricing specialist

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist who can go beyond quotations and take ownership of sourcing competitive rates, developing suppliers, and driving pricing strategies.

• Source and negotiate competitive ocean freight rates with carriers, agents, and co-loaders in Asia
• Build and expand a strong supplier network across key Asian markets
• Analyze rate trends by trade lane, ports, and cargo types
• Provide insights to improve pricing competitiveness and margins
• Support the pricing team with accurate and structured cost data
• Continuously improve rate competitiveness through active sourcing and negotiation (not limited to quotation tasks)

• Mid to Senior experience in freight forwarding (Ocean preferred)
• Minimum 9+ years of freight forwarding experience required
• Strong background in rate negotiation and supplier development in Asia
• Experience in Asian markets is mandatory
• Solid understanding of international logistics and pricing structures
• Highly proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Strong Excel and data handling skills
• Fluent in English
