Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Field Salesman to drive sales and business development for our LED lighting product line. This role is responsible for developing a client base including electrical contractors, MEP consultants, building contractors, project procurement managers, facility managers, and commercial property developers.The candidate should have a solid understanding of LED lighting technology and applications across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage potential clients such as contractors, builders, architects, interior designers, and wholesalers
Visit construction sites, offices, and warehouses to promote LED lighting solutions.
Promote the company's LED product range, including floodlights, panel lights, and more.
Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate lighting solutions based on application (commercial, industrial, residential, façade, etc.).
Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and close sales deals.
Maintain ongoing communication to support client needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
Submit data files to maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.Provide Provide weekly reports on field visits, and sales performance.
Requirements:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum at least 1 year of field sales experience, preferably in electrical, lighting, or building material industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of lighting technologies (LED types, wattage/lumen specs, lux levels, IP ratings, etc.) and ability to read basic electrical drawings or lighting layouts.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing techniques
- Time management and independent work ethic
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suites
- License: Valid driver’s license. Must own motorcycle
