Welder fabricator

About the role

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organisation.

1. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the welding requirements for each project
2. Operate various welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal components
3. Fabricate and assemble metal structures, machines, and equipment according to specifications
4. Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
5. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutions
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder Fabricator in the Trades & Services industry
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
3. Expertise in operating a variety of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy
5. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
6. Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards
