Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support the engineering, design, technical execution, and project delivery of commercial and utility-scale solar energy projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in system design, technical coordination, installation support, testing, commissioning, and after-sales technical support.
This position is ideal for an engineer with strong technical knowledge in solar PV systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and renewable energy solutions, with experience working in EPC, installation, or solar distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical Support- Design and review Solar PV system layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and electrical configurations.
- Perform PV system sizing, energy yield estimation, and system optimization.
- Configure and support inverters, batteries, and ESS solutions.
- Conduct technical evaluations and recommend suitable solar products and mounting systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, installers, and project stakeholders during project implementation.
- Support project installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical recommendations for both roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systems.
- Assist in project documentation, technical reports, and as-built drawings.
- Provide technical assistance to clients, installers, and internal teams.
- Analyze system monitoring data and performance reports.
- Troubleshoot inverter, battery, and monitoring system issues.
- Support warranty claims and after-sales technical concerns.
- Assist the sales team with technical presentations, product recommendations, and solution proposals.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and project evaluations.
Qualifications
Education & Licensing- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Renewable Energy Engineering
- PRC Licensed Engineer (Registered Engineer)
- Solar-related certifications are an advantage
- Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in:
- Solar PV system design
- EPC, installer, or distributor-side engineering
- Hands-on experience with:
- Inverters
- Batteries / Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
- Mounting systems
- Exposure to both pre-sales and after-sales technical roles is highly preferred
