ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting strategic business decisions. This role involves managing daily accounting activities, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data; provide financial insights to management.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Coordinate audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Notion, MS Excel, and other accounting tools.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and problem-solving abilities.
