Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role combines technical knowledge with strategic procurement practices to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality products and services.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the engineering, project management, and finance teams to support construction or industrial projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, budget constraints, and delivery schedules.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering with a strong background in procurement, canvassing, and supplier negotiation.
• Solid experience in sourcing mechanical equipment and materials, evaluating quotations, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of construction or industrial equipment and materials.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to travel for site visits or supplier meetings, if necessary.
• With Driver's License
