Software Developer
Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist the Business Applications Lead in designing and implementing technical solutions that align with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain efficient, reliable, and cost-effective systems that maximize return on investment.
- Deliver system development activities in accordance with established project management frameworks and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support for existing applications, including system enhancements, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Develop, test, evaluate, and deploy new applications and system enhancements.
- Analyze existing applications and identify opportunities for modification, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company standards for GDI-related systems.
- Participate in business process reviews and assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, business requirements documents (BRD), technical requirements documents (TRD), and user manuals.
- Assist in system deployment activities and collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Team to ensure all technical requirements are properly implemented and aligned.
- Working knowledge of web application development and support, with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions
- Knowledgeable in mobile application development
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches
- Solid understanding of project management life cycle principles
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to users with limited IT or technical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to learn, adapt, and apply new technologies quickly
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision while resolving complex technical requirements
- Strong listening skills, patience, and a customer-focused mindset
- Knowledgeable in customer service and stakeholder relationship management

- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field
- Three (3) to six (6) years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of Scrum methodology and Agile development practices
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining productivity and delivering quality results
- Experience with the Freshworks ticketing system is an advantage
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel Framework, and other relevant web development technologies
- Experience in API development and management, as well as POS system integration
- Experience in Mobile application development is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and Data Warehouse Integration
