Manila - Quality Control Chemist
Manila Full-time
Monitors the conformance to lead time in the Physical Chemical section of the laboratory, request laboratory supplies, chemicals, reagents and other requirements.
- Update inventory of chemicals and laboratory glassware
- Prepare reagents, standards and chemicals for water testing.
- Conducts physical and chemical analyses of water.
- Regularly updates the quality control chart using the data gathered by the Chemist/Chemical Technician.
- Conducts method verification and method validation (when needed) relating to water quality
- Participates in Proficiency Test
- Checks the data analyzed by the Analyst prior to encoding in the computer.
- Prepare and submit reports quarterly to the laboratory manager
- May answer customer inquiries in the absence of the laboratory manager
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
- with valid PRC Chemist License
With previous water quality testing experience is an advantage
