JOB OBJECTIVE: Performs credit investigation of client’s financial status and their ability to repay the loan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducts investigation of credit and financial history / credit standing of clients and business establishments applying for loans
Validates the information reflected on loan application and authenticity of loan documents through interview with the borrower/co-borrower/character reference, bank checking, agency/employment verification
Collects relevant information through reliable sources to determine credit worthiness of clients
Undertakes personal visits to confirm residential and business addresses

Qualifications/Requirements

Graduate of any four-year course
Has good communication skills (written and oral), administrative skills and interpersonal skills
Must have excellent attention to details
Has the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Resourceful, organized, proactive and systematic
Willing to do field work
No work-related experience required for this position
Motorized Credit Investigator is an advantage
Computer-proficient
