About the role
We are seeking a skilled IT Supervisor (Help Desk & IT Support) to join our dynamic team at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc. in Lipa City, Batangas. As an IT Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organisation's IT infrastructure and supporting our employees with their technology needs.
What you'll be doing- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT help desk and support team
- Respond to and resolve a wide range of IT-related issues and queries in a timely and effective manner
- Provide technical support and guidance to users on various software, hardware, and network-related problems
- Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the security and reliability of our IT systems
- Coordinate and oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of new hardware and software
- Manage and monitor the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address the evolving IT needs of the organisation
- Provide training and support to users on the effective utilisation of IT resources
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the IT strategy and roadmap
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT support or IT supervisor role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry setting
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading an IT help desk or support team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve IT issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels
- Proficient in the use of a wide range of IT tools, software, and technologies
- Familiarity with IT best practices, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience with enterprise IT systems is required
- Ability to manage and supervise 10 or more direct reports
