Job Description ROLE SUMMARY: Lead the development and execution of process optimization strategies for marketing programs, focusing on enhancing productivity, eliminating inefficiencies, and reducing costs without compromising quality.

This role encompasses the comprehensive documentation of current and future state processes, proactive communication and implementation across marketing teams, and rigorous measurement of the resulting impact on key marketing metrics. INTERNAL CLIENTS: Marketing Team Divisions and Departments Marketing Leadership Team Brands and Organizations being supported by Marketing Finance, Procurement EXTERNAL CLIENTS: Managed Service Vendor DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct interviews and workshops with Stakeholders and Process Owners to thoroughly review and understand Marketing processes.

Analyze and Optimize Processes: Conduct process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, reduce waste, and recommend automation opportunities in collaboration with management and relevant teams.

Design and Document Process Solutions: Develop future-state processes, including clear workflows, procedures, and guidelines. Create supporting documentation and references to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of process changes.

Drive Change Adoption and Communication: Lead teams in identifying impact of process changes, drive development and execution of change management plans and activities to ensure successful adoption of agreed process improvements.

Proactively communicate the need for change and the details of new processes to all relevant stakeholders through clear and accessible channels. Engage stakeholders to address change impact concerns and govern the change implementation process across affected teams.

Measure, Monitor, and Report Performance: Define and track key metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of process transformation initiatives.

Monitor performance against targets, identify further optimization areas, and provide regular updates on progress. Governance and Process Adherence: Implement systems and establish governance frameworks to track whether teams follow established processes, to ensure consistent execution quality, identify areas where processes are not being applied or identify further improvements required.

Foster Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback mechanisms (e.g., ceremonies, routines) to continuously gather and incorporate insights for ongoing process refinement and optimization.

KPIs: Cost & Process Efficiency Improvements (eg: Cycle Time reduction, Cost reductions/cost savings achieved, reduction in rework rate, throughput increase, improvement in time to market, etc.) Achievement of defined benefits for process improvements Adoption/process compliance rate of new processes.

Completion rate for Key Initiatives TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES: Process Optimization Roadmap: Phased plan outlining short-term quick wins and long-term transformation initiatives, with timelines & owners. Process Documentation and Standards: Define, document and enforce standards to be applied within Marketing (covering process maps, checklists, naming conventions, SLAs, RACI, governance frameworks, etc.).

Process Documentation and Marketing Playbooks: Clear, step-by-step guides for existing, new or improved marketing processes Change Management Execution & Training Plans: Materials and sessions to onboard marketing and cross-functional teams to the new processes and corresponding changes.

Continuous Improvement Pipeline: Framework for identifying, prioritizing, implementing and measuring Continuous Improvements, testing them and scaling successful initiatives. Operational Metrics Dashboard & Optimization Project Reports: Executive-ready report summarizing process optimization initiatives, benefits achieved and impact to operational KPIs.

Strategic Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Effectively engages and persuades various stakeholders to align process improvements with organizational objectives.

Process Optimization & Analysis: Proficient in analyzing, designing and implementing improvements to operational workflows.

Project & Data Management: Manages process improvement projects within established timelines and uses relevant data to drive decisions and measure impact. Lean/Six Sigma & Technology Application: Applies Lean/Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and optimize the use of relevant technologies.

KPI Development & Risk Management: Defines relevant KPIs to measure process success, identifies/mitigates risks in process changes.

Business Acumen: Foundational Business Understanding: Possesses a solid grasp of core business concepts and strategies to ensure process alignment with organizational goals. Adaptable Change Leadership: Guides teams through change with an understanding of their operational environment, ensuring smooth adoption of effective processes.

Certification/License: Green or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification
