Job Qualifications:
- year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience- 4+ years of Software Packaging, Automation, Deployment, Technical knowledge of deployment tools such as RADIA, Microsoft SCCM, MS Intune, Flexera Admin Studio, and PowerShell.
Packaging conversion from Radia to MS Intune.
Knowledge of the Windows Registry, folder and file structure, and MS Group Policy.
Knowledge of Azure AD, Internal AD, and Hybrid Azure AD environments.
Working knowledge of remote software development.
Domain experience and functional understanding of field services and/or a specified hardware/software deployment- Knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools (e.g. MS Project, Visio, Agile, SDLC, etc.) with an understanding of Project Management Disciplines.
Proven ability to perform project planning, resource planning, and risk assessment.
Ability to independently define tasks and develop sequencing and timelines for complex rollouts/release cycles.
Able to create training tools, documentation, and deployment strategies for more complex projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate across business and IT groups, build relationships, and manage effectively in a matrix organization.
Strong customer service aptitude and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues.
Working knowledge of ITSM tools such as Service Now.
Main responsibilities
The Information Technology Department has an opening for an Advanced Software Packaging Engineer reporting to the Manager of IT Services and Support. This position will work from Manila.
Key Responsibilities but are not limited to:
- An effective communicator and relationship builder.
- Responsibility and coordination of Enterprise Deployment projects and construction activities for retail or backstage locations.
- Review and approve installation documents and plans.
- Work with IT departments and vendors on specific rollout and construction activities.
- Ensure project scheduling for multiple division teams.
- Update and maintain company project plans, rollout schedules, construction timelines, installation, and support documentation.
- Interface with applications and systems groups to test, pilot, and install retail and backstage systems.
- Plan and schedule deployment timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and create and monitor detailed deployment plans. Define release schedule, timing, and calendar.
- Plan and schedule a very detailed (daily, hourly) sequence of activities (repeatable activities).
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize deployment risks and the impact of risks on the project.
- Identify skill set requirements, roles, and responsibilities of the deployment team.
- Revise Deployment Plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Help to ensure processes to monitor and control resources, risks, and quality.
- Manage the content of a release and be the point of contact for information about the components of a deployment.
- Manage all deployment-related documentation like progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Manage all deployments for all Windows.
- Participate in the peer review and preproduction deployment testing.
- Participate in daily ad-hoc deployment requests, INC, and RITMS
- This role requires extreme attention and focus as it could have severe repercussions.
