CIVIL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (LICENSE)
Ø not more than 40yrs old
Ø Proficiency in AUTOCADD, MICROSOFT OFFICE / PDF Editor and other related engineering software
Ø Working experience in vertical and horizontal construction specially Power Generation Facilities and Industrial Plant including Substation (CE)
Ø Working experience in building electrical system, underground and overhead distribution line, transmission line and solar energy (EE)- Review the Material Technical Data Sheet
It might even better if you will prepare a comparison sheet before you finally submit the material to the Engineer.
- Preparation of Method Statement (this is one of the important roles and responsibilities of a QA/QC engineer)
A QA/QC Engineer shall develop a method statement for the particular work on the site. He will make sure that it is submitted to the Consultant or Engineer and should be approved prior to starting the job on the site. The QA/QC Engineer shall prepare the method statement ahead of schedule for the jobs and consider making a plan for all the method statements preparation and submission
- Review Method Statement approval or comments of the Engineer and take action
When you received the approval or comments on the method statement the quality engineer will review it, any corrective action in the comments shall be immediately complied with and eventually revert back for final approval. Do not keep the comments on your hand for a long period of time because the construction team cannot proceed with the works until the method statement is finalized
- Submit Inspection Request for Engineers Inspection
The job will be inspected after 24 hours the Inspection Request is submitted so, always be reminded of that matter because the Engineer will not accept any outright request for inspection.
- Issue Internal NCR or Site Observation
You can issue an internal non-conformance report and site observation to the subcontractors and site construction team. Before issuing an NCR to the concerned trades make sure you issue first the site observation report, give them at least 72 hours to take action, but before that, they should submit the corrective action and if after 72 hours there is no action then you may issue an NCR.
If you do not want to feel like you are cruel to them you may give verbal instruction or advice and if they will not take urgent action from your advice then you may proceed to issue site observation.- Conduct regular Site Surveillance
And the safety of people doing the work, you have a right to stop them from doing unsafe work, though it is Safety Officers in-charge to do it.
- Prepare QA/QC Reports
The quality engineer shall prepare a QA/QC weekly report. You shall state all the activities that you performed in the past week and the critical issues that you have noticed. The documents submitted and to be submitted shall also be included in your report.
SUPERVISOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (LICENSE)

Ø Proficiency in AUTOCADD, MICROSOFT OFFICE / PDF Editor and other related engineering software
Ø Working experience in building electrical system, underground and overhead distribution line, transmission line and solar energy
Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in buildings
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures, and maintaining maintenance records
- Supervising, training, and mentoring electricians and electrical workers
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety procedures and electrical codes
- Planning and scheduling projects and preparing and maintaining project budgets
- Inspecting and testing electrical equipment, components and systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
- Resolving problems and ensuring that work is completed to clients’ satisfaction
- Ordering electrical supplies and equipment
- Preparing and presenting reports detailing the status of electrical projects and work orders
- Preparation of method states of electrical installation, schematic diagram, drawing and project execution
SUPERVISOR CIVIL ENGINEER (LICENSE/NON-LICENSE)

Ø Proficiency in AUTOCADD, MICROSOFT OFFICE / PDF Editor and other related engineering software
Ø Working experience in vertical and horizontal construction specially Power Generation Facilities and Industrial Plant including Substation
The responsibilities of a civil engineering supervisor include:
- Acting as the key person and/or point of contact for all activities on the construction site, and overseeing daily operations
- Monitoring and updating calculations, designs, and tolerances
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and working timetables
- Interpreting and analyzing contracts and technical information with other professionals
- Gathering and presenting reports on work progress and budget matters to clients
- Working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and several other construction specialists
- Analyzing project designs, scheduling the project's subcontractors and materials, as well as overseeing the daily operations
- Providing guidance and technical assistance to contractors
- Managing production of full sets of contract documents (grading, drainage, water, sewer, paving and SWPPP)
- Performing take-offs of select components of the dam and assisting the procurement of permanent materials by answering RFI's from vendors.
