We seek an experienced Residential Estimator who has previously worked on Residential projects in Australia for a 100% home-based role in the Philippines.
Our Client
Our client is a high-end boutique Home builder based in Melbourne. They are a young, fast growing builder that work on a mixture of new build and refurb work on large complex high vale homes that can value up to $10m. Based in Melbourne, our client is a young, rapidly expanding, high-end boutique home builder.They specialise in large, complex, high-value residential projects, including both new builds and refurbishments, with some homes valued up to $10 million.
The Opportunity:
This role will be a mixture of Estimating and Project Administration, and you will help support a Senior Contract Administrator with a range of CA and Admin duties.
Key Responsibilities- maintaining drawing, RFI and variation registers
- preparing progress claim support documentation
- formatting and issuing variations
- procurement tracking and shop drawing registers
- subcontractor scope comparison tables
- subcontractor invoice processing and tracking against cost codes
- assisting with payment claim preparation support
- meeting minutes and document control
- assisting with cost plan formatting and estimate support
- general contract administration across multiple jobs
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have similar Australian experience in a Residential Estimator role. You should also possess the following qualifications and experience:
MUST HAVES- Previous Australian Estimator experience, this could be from a volume or custom home builder.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, quantity surveying or a related field
- Must have Strong written and spoken English
- Strong understanding and experience in reading plans and architectural drawings
- Excellent Excel and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
