What is the job?

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible in managing advanced technical issues across client environments, including servers, networks, and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as the escalation point for L1/L2 support, resolving complex server, network, and system issues
• Troubleshoots Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365, and Active Directory environments
• Manages virtualization, storage, firewall, and network infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V, Fortinet, etc.)
• Performs root cause analysis and implements preventive solutions for recurring incidents
• Monitors systems, maintains performance, and handles installations, upgrades, and patching
• Documents, tracks, and communicates incidents while collaborating with teams and supporting on-call needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in server, network, or systems engineering/support roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange (2010/2013/2016) and Office 365 administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, SonicWall).
