About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to join the sales team at Startext Ent. Inc. This is a full-time position based in Grace Park West, Caloocan City, Metro Manila. As a Medical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our medical products and services to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics and other medical institutions.You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes. This role is essential to our company's expansion strategy within the healthcare sector and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the medical community.
Key responsibilities- Identify, contact and establish relationships with potential healthcare clients including hospitals, clinics, medical practices and other healthcare facilities
- Present and demonstrate medical products and services to prospective clients, highlighting key features, benefits and clinical advantages
- Conduct needs assessments with clients to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate medical solutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client specifications
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve sales targets whilst maintaining profitability
- Close sales deals and ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of products and services for new clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and pipeline progress using CRM systems
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators
- Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes affecting the medical sales landscape
- Attend industry events, conferences and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development and customer service to support client needs
- Proven experience in medical sales or pharmaceutical sales, ideally with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, medical products and the healthcare decision-making process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and present solutions that directly address those requirements
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tools
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work independently whilst meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Metro Manila area to meet clients
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in B2B sales or relationship-based selling would be advantageous
