Research and Development Specialist - Food Industry

About the role

We are looking for a Research and Development Specialist who will support the company by leading comprehensive research initiatives, optimizing laboratory procedures, guiding people on research of new ingredients, technology, and methods, and successfully producing reliable test results to achieve the department's and company's set objectives.

• Execute comprehensive research and designing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products and processes by identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic).
• Ensuring that safety guidelines are always adhered to within the laboratory.
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
• Document and communicate research findings, test results, and recommendations to team, immediate superior and top management.

• Bachelor's of BS Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry, or related course.
• With at least three (3) to five (5) years of work experience (preferably in food manufacturing).
• Has strong analytical and technical skills.
• With excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work in Makati City
