• Minimum 3 years' experience in a deadline-driven newspaper environment (local or international)
• Strong English communication skills with excellent grammar
• Hands-on experience with print fulfilment systems, including pagination and press impositions
• Proven collaboration with Australian teams and strong understanding of the Australian media landscape
• Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
• Willingness to render overtime or adjust shifts based on business needs (e.g., breaking news or team coverage)
• Demonstrates quality, accuracy, and client focus in delivering compliant, high-quality outputs
• Adaptable with strong technical capability across complex systems and processes
• Effective time management and teamwork skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

• Execute pagination, layout optimisation, and classified page planning to ensure accurate, on-time press delivery aligned with quality standards
• Finalise and approve print-ready materials according to schedule, ensuring compliance with publishing requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows and high-quality print delivery
• Manage and prioritise tasks effectively to meet strict publication deadlines
• Communicate clearly and escalate issues or decisions as needed
• Align outputs with business priorities, including pagination guardrails and on-time performance targets
• Uphold publishing standards, guidelines, and quality control across all deliverables
• Manage shared mailboxes and handle print-related communications, responding to queries promptly
• Progress from mastering end-to-end workflows and systems (30 days), to consistently meeting deadlines and improving productivity (90 days), to independently delivering across multiple mastheads with at least 98% on-time, high-quality performance (1 year)
