Helper

• Carry tools, ladders, pipes, and aircon units
• Prepare materials needed for the job
• Load and unload equipment from service vehicles

• Help disassemble aircon units
• Wash filters, covers, coils, and drain lines
• Clean the work area after service

• Hold tools or parts for the technician
• Assist with drilling, wiring, and mounting
• Pass materials and help with setup

• Travel with technicians to customer locations
• Help organize schedules and materials for each job

• Sometimes take photos of completed work
• Help record service details
• Assist with inventory or tool checking

What they learn

Many helpers use the job to gain experience and eventually become full aircon technicians. They learn:
