Logistics Truck Driver (Direct Hire)

The driver must also uphold integrity, diligence, and reliability in all aspects of the job, reflecting biblical values of stewardship and responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods to assigned destinations safely and on time.
• Verify delivery documents and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow the company and client delivery instructions diligently.

• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Report any mechanical issues and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good running condition.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Follow company protocols to ensure goods are delivered without damage.
• Secure all cargo properly to prevent losses and accidents.

• Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel.
• Obtain proof of delivery (POD) and ensure proper documentation.
• Address customer inquiries courteously and escalate concerns if necessary.

• Handle all transactions honestly and responsibly.
• Follow company policies on timekeeping and attendance.
• Exhibit discipline and respect in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2 or 3)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a delivery driver.
• Familiarity with Metro Manila and the nearby provinces' routes.
• Experience in handling logistics, loading, and unloading of goods.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
• Good navigation and map-reading skills (Waze, Google Maps, etc.).
• Strong communication skills for coordination with dispatch and customers.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads when necessary.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting for emergency situations.
• Willing to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna
