• Shall be responsible in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards specific to automotive wiring harness manufacturing.
• Shall be responsible for monitoring production processes and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Shall be responsible in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes to resolve quality issues.
• Shall be responsible in leading internal audits and coordinate with external audits related to quality management systems.

• Shall be responsible in collaborating with production, production engineering, and supply chain teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
• Shall be responsible in overseeing in quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality metrics.
• Shall be responsible in driving continuous improvement initiatives for Quality Assurance Department.
• Shall be responsible in supplier quality management, including incoming material inspections and supplier audits.
• Shall be responsible in analyzing quality data and prepare reports for management review.
• Shall be responsible in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Shall serve as the primary quality contact for customers on quality-related matters.
• Shall support customer audits, visits, and quality reviews.
• Shall lead, coach, and develop the QA team to ensure competency and accountability.
• Shall identify training needs and ensure personnel are trained in quality standards, inspection methods, problem-solving tools, and customer requirements
• Shall analyze internal defects, line rejects, rework, scrap, and customer claims to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
• Shall participate in new product introduction (NPI) quality activities.
• Will be responsible in ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Shall communicate all data, reports, business or activity plans to the mother company, Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd. Japan

Qualifications/Requirements

• With at least 15 years of experience in an automotive wiring harness industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes related to wiring harness production.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing processes and quality risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Familiarity with customer-specific requirements and product traceability systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Can fluently speak, write, and read Japanese language.
